Redundant Array of Independent Disks

Storage technology combining multiple disks for redundancy and/or performance. Common levels: RAID 0 (striping), RAID 1 (mirroring), RAID 5 (parity).

Exam Tip

RAID 0 = no redundancy (speed only). RAID 1 = mirroring. RAID 5 = striping with parity.
